The International Office and the Doctoral School are delighted to invite all new PhD students and researchers to a guided tour of Angers city centre.
Let our ambassador show you round the city’s most iconic sights and enjoy the famous Angers way of life.
Itinerary:
- Departure from the Grand Théâtre (Place du Ralliement, at the bottom of the steps)
- A tour taking in the main heritage sites (cathedral, museums, Grand Théâtre, collegiate church, etc..
- Tour of the castle district and the historic centre
- Discover Angers’ panoramic views and must-see spots (Promenade du Bout du Monde, panorama from the cathedral, etc.)
To round off this tour, your Ambassador suggests we pop into a bar for a drink and enjoy a bit of a relaxed and friendly time together.

- Accessible to people with reduced mobility
- Times: 4.00 pm to 5.20 pm
